90-Day Technical
Leadership Accelerator
Stage two. Establish technical control — not a transformation programme.
THE OBJECTIVE
Technical control
in ninety days.
In 90 days we establish the technical decision-making, engineering controls and delivery practices needed to scale your AI work without proportionally increasing cost and risk.
This is not a grand digital transformation. It is the work of putting the right decisions, standards and ownership in place so that delivery becomes predictable and the CEO stops being the technical escalation point.
HOW IT RUNS
Senior time, tapering as control is established.
-
01
Month one
Around two days a week. Assessment findings turned into decisions; architecture, standards and ownership agreed and made visible.
-
02
Month two
Around a day and a half a week. Engineering controls and delivery practices embedded with the team; AI coding-agent usage put on a disciplined footing.
-
03
Month three
Around a day a week. Roadmap prioritised, decision-making running without the escalation loop, handover to ongoing leadership if wanted.
What changes
In the technology
- Clearer architecture
- Engineering standards that are actually followed
- Reduced defects and rework
- Appropriate, disciplined use of AI coding agents
In the business
- Clear technical ownership
- Better technical investment decisions
- A prioritised technical roadmap
- Delivery the CEO no longer has to arbitrate
WHAT FOLLOWS
Ongoing leadership, if you want it.
With control established, many organisations keep a senior technical lead on a retained basis — one or two days a week — rather than hiring a permanent executive. That is the fractional leadership stage, and it is entirely optional.
Discuss a technical challenge
The Accelerator normally follows an Assessment. Talk to us about where you are.
